CMC Interiors' principal designer is Caryn Craige. Caryn's path to design has been anything but typical. After spending 11 years, first as an attorney, then as a banker, her right brain decided to take over. She returned to school to obtain a two-year design degree followed by interning for a commercial architecture firm in its senior living design studio. With the arrival of her first child, she shifted her focus to residential interiors.
She has designed for new construction on Lake Norman, multi-stage renovations in Cotswold and Providence Springs, room-by-room updates in Foxcroft and Sherwood Forest, as well as the interior and exterior renovation of a beach house at Ocean Isle.
Caryn's ultimate goal is to create a comfortable, livable space that allows the Client's personality to shine through, not hers. She also believes in giving back to her community. Since the inception of CMC Interiors, 10% of gross revenues has been donated to various charities, including Beds For Kids, Communities in Schools and Promising Pages.
